Pieces falling into place

Well...despite what my conservative friend M thinks (and snidely wrote as a comment to this post), Howard Dean's candidacy for the DNC chair is going strong. Daily Kos notes that the AFL-CIO has decided not to endorse anyone in this race (from SFGate.com):

AFL-CIO leaders decided Tuesday not to make an endorsement in the race for Democratic National Committee chairman, a move that could make it harder for any of Howard Dean's rivals to stop his push for the party leadership.
