Read this, and this, and then tell me exactly what Congress is really trying to accomplish. Are they doing this for Terri (and if so, why did they wait until the last second to act?) or are they doing it for self-serving gains come election time?

I'm first and foremost a fan of duathlons (that's run-bike-run for those that don't know), but do at least one triathlon a year, pretty much every year. I started with duathlons mostly due to a major dislike of swimming. Now, I don't actually hate swimming, but the idea of wading in to typically dark, murky, stinky lakes, and intentionally swimming AWAY from shore really just doesn't interest me that much. Like I said before, I do race triathlons as well, and have done quite a few sprints, several 70.3s and also finished Ironman Wisconsin back in 2011, so I managed to overcome my dislikes of that lake swimming thing.
